Canine Good Citizen or CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community.  C.G.C. is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs.  All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. C.G.C is also the first step to becoming a Therapy Dog this class will help decide if your dog is suitable choice. The course consists of four classes and a test (participation in the classes is not required to sit for the test).  There is an additional $15 fee for the test.
